Worcestershire County Cricket Club

Worcestershire County Cricket Club is one of the 18 major county clubs which make up the English and Welsh domestic cricket structure. Its limited overs team is called the Worcestershire Rapids, although unofficially the county is known by some fans as ‘The Pears’.

Often said to be the most beautiful sporting venue in England, Worcestershire County Cricket Club has something to offer everyone. From the traditional, relaxed atmosphere of the County Championship, to the 50 over and frenetic pace of the Vitality Blast, you cannot fail to enjoy the English quintessentially game of cricket at New Road.

St Richard’s Hospice has been selected as Worcestershire County Cricket Clubs Charity of the Year for 2021. The Club will be looking to work with St. Richard’s to help raise funds and increase awareness of the charity through a number of initiatives planned during 2021, including its elephant art trail, Worcester’s Big Parade.
