Visitors invited to free hospice open afternoon

Members of the community are being invited to a free open afternoon at St Richard’s Hospice.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event from 12pm to 3pm on Sunday 11 June at the hospice in Wildwood Drive, Worcester.

Visitors can stroll around our beautiful grounds and homely hospice to learn about the free support and care given to patients living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Alice Spearing, Community Engagement Officer at St Richard’s, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming in members of the community to St Richard’s.

“We hope it will be an enjoyable event for everyone who attends and a chance to understand more about the free hospice care provided here.”

To top the afternoon off, there will be delicious cake and tea on offer in the hospice marquee on the lawn.

To book a place for the open afternoon visit www.srhopenafternoon.eventbrite.co.uk, or call Jade Atkins on 01905 763963.

There will also be a shop volunteers’ information event at the hospice on Friday 9 June. Anyone who is interested in volunteering at one of St Richard’s 16 shops can come along to find out how to get involved.

If you would like to attend the information event, please contact the HR and Volunteers department on 01905 763963.
