Recently, we have been delighted to welcome members of the community along to our new Living Well social groups here at St Richard’s Hospice.

Last week, patients and carers attended our IT and technology social group where staff and volunteers were on hand to offer advice on using email, online shopping, staying secure online and more.

We also held our April ‘Love Books’ group, where attendees shared their favourite comedy reads with each other.

These social groups run every month and are free to attend. We also run a knit and natter group.

Alongside the social groups, we also run free six-weekly information sessions including Understanding pain and Its Management and Managing Fatigue.

Both the social groups and information sessions are open to anyone with a serious, progressive illness and their carers.

You do not already have to be a hospice patient to attend. Please note the sessions will not include one-to-one medical advice.

Find out more and get involved with the next sessions online.
