Virtual complementary therapy

“The treatment was fantastic and as I was lying in the recliner chair with my eyes closed, it felt like I was lying on the couch in the therapy room at the hospice…perfect.”

Complementary Therapist, Liesl, may not have been hands on in the room due to the coronavirus pandemic, but her virtual guided visualisation still made a big difference.

Liesl suggested the bereaved carer set the lighting in the room at home and had gentle music on in the background to make the most of the session.

This is just one of many creative ways St Richard’s is continuing to care for patients and families.
