Our care is unique to each individual - whatever his or her physical, emotional or spiritual needs. Our hospice team includes our own doctors, nurses, social worker, counsellors and therapists working alongside highly trained volunteers.
Through care in your home the In-patient Unit, Day Hospice and all our further support services, we are able to help patients and families at a very difficult time.
One of our main aims is to enable patients to stay at home where possible, providing our care alongside their own doctors and nurses with the back up of the Day Hospice. When appropriate, patients may be admitted to the In-patient Unit.
Drop-in support sessions
We have recently launched a pilot drop-in support session in Worcester. Anyone wanting to find out more about hospice care can come and have a chat while they are out shopping. A member of our specialist team will be on hand to offer informal advice in a confidential setting relating to hospice or end of life care, and explain how St Richard’s may be able to offer support patients with a life threatening illness and their loved ones.
In 2015, sessions will be held at our St Swithin’s Street shop and café on alternate Fridays, 1.30-3pm
Friday 16th January
Friday 30th January
Friday 13th February
Friday 27th February
Friday 13th March
