When, where and how you can donate to shops

27th November 2020

Had a clear-out during lockdown? You can donate your items to our donation points on set days from Monday, 7th December!

We’ll also be taking donations at the shops listed below, so please consider giving your items to support our care.

Particularly welcome are donations of cosy, winter clothing and sparkly Christmas clobber!

Guidance on making your donation

  • When visiting a donation station, there will be signage in place to direct you to the drop off point. You will be asked to place items into the container or van.
  • Please bring your donations in a sealed bag, or box – ideally with a lid to enable stacking.
  • Items will be isolated for 48 hours before handling.
  • Please ensure boxes are of a manageable size, and weigh no more than 8kg.
  • Please ensure individual items are appropriately wrapped and not loose.
  • If you gift aid goods, please get labels from the shop and attach to your donations.

Furniture: If you’d like to give an item of furniture, click here to register it for collection rather than taking it to a shop.

Books: We can accept book donations at some stores, but only a maximum of three boxes weighing less than 8kg.
