When, where and how you can donate to shops

If you’ve been having a clear-out during lockdown, you can take your good-quality, resaleable items to collection points at the designated stores below on set days and times. Read on for information on how to donate, and the latest guidance on furniture collections.

Please note

  • We are not currently accepting donations at any of our other shops.
  • We can accept books at some donation points (see details below), limited to a maximum of three boxes per donation. Boxes should be easy to handle, and weigh no more than 8kg. Thank you for your understanding.
  • We are particularly seeking autumn/winter clothing stock, including accessories for men and women. We would also love donations of modern, decorative household items and kitchenware in good condition. Thank you.

When and where to make your donation

  • Dates and times are subject to change, depending on the volume of donations received.

Pershore – accepting donations on Tuesday and Wednesday only between 10am-3pm. The shop remains open to customers. This donation station will open on Tuesday, 22nd September and Wednesday, 23rd September from 10am to 3pm or until the donation station is full. Due to the limited capacity we advise you to ring the shop on 01386 556903 on a Wednesday before setting off to check there is still room to accept donations. Please do not leave donations outside this shop.

Malvern Link Dept Store – accepting donations on Thursdays & Fridays only between 10am-3pm. This donation station will reopen on Thursday, 24th September. The shop remains open to customers. Please do not leave donations outside this shop.

Warehouse, Leigh Sinton –  This donation station will reopen on Tuesday, 22nd September between 10am and 1pm, and Saturday, 26th September, between 9am and 1pm. We can now accept book donations at the Warehouse.

Evesham – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday only between 10am-3pm. Update: This donation station is now closed, and will reopen on Wednesday, 23rd September. The shop remains open to customers. Please do not leave donations outside this shop.

St Swithin’s Street, Worcester – We are now able to accept small quantities of donations at this shop (max. two bags per donation) by appointment only. To arrange, call 01905 616353 and ask to speak to a member of staff.

Lowesmoor, Worcester – We are now able to accept small quantities of donated bric-a-brac, linen, and small electrical appliances at this shop by appointment only. We are not able to accept any other type of donations at this time. To arrange, call 01905 745495 and ask to speak to the shop manager.

Mealcheapen Street, Worcester – We are now able to accept donated bridal, prom wear and accessories (including mother of the bride and wedding guest outfits) at this shop by appointment only. We are not able to accept any other types of donations at this time. To arrange, call 01905 22378 and ask to speak to the shop manager.

Upton– You can donate small amounts (max. two bags or boxes per donation) of bric-a-brac, household items and clothes only at this shop on Saturdays between 10am and 1pm, subject to change. Please ensure items are in a sealed box, or bag, and that items of bric-a-brac are wrapped. Please do not donate books. No appointment necessary, however once we are full we will stop accepting items. Read more.

Stourport – We are now able to accept small quantities of donated clothing, bric-a-brac and toys at this shop (max. two small, sealed boxes or bags per donation) by appointment only.  To arrange, call 01299 877375 and ask to speak to the shop manager. Read more.

Kidderminster – We are now able to accept small quantities of donated books, bric-a-brac and toys at this shop (max. two small, sealed boxes or bags per donation) by appointment only. We are not able to accept donations of clothing or linen at this time. To arrange call 01562 540002 and ask to speak a member of the management team. Read more.

Droitwich – We are now able to accept small quantities of donations at this shop (max. two carrier bags or boxes per donation) by appointment only. We cannot accept donations of bed linen or towels at this site. To arrange a donation, call 01905 794790 and ask to speak to the shop manager. Read more.

Information for making your donation

  • To meet infection control guidelines donors will be asked to place items directly into a container or hospice van where they can remain for 72 hours before handling.
  • Donations must not be taken into the shop.
  • There will be signage in place directing you to the donation point.
  • All donations must be in a sealed bag (e.g. tied at the top), or a box – ideally with a lid to enable stacking.
  • Please ensure boxes of donations are of a manageable size, and weigh no more than 8kg.
  • If you are donating individual items, please make sure they are appropriately wrapped and not loose.
  • If you gift aid goods, please obtain labels from the shop and attach to your donations.

Furniture collections

Please do not bring furniture donations to our collection points. You can arrange to have items of furniture collected. We are only able to offer to collect furniture at this time, and not other items.
